A Summer Kitchen
A Summer Kitchen is adapted from a Kim Jacobs calendar print. The outside is done from paperclay and grout and a multitude of washes and then dry brushed. It is done to have a three dimensional effect with a courtyard dividing the two structures. It is not electrified rather having a small battery light in the ceiling for when I want it to be lit.Thank you for visiting.

Conjuring up a spell
The old witch is conjuring up a spell. Some poor unfortunate soul is holding her spell book, while another looks on from underneath the magical mushrooms. The witch is sculpted on a full body armature. Her hat is Deco clay and her cauldron is made of a pod and filled with resin for water. The broom handle I carved and the broom head made of coconut fibers. The set is made of plaster cloth with paperclay stones. All are acrylic washed and moss was added. The logs are electrified and appear to be burning. The Ravens I made from Deco hard clay.

The Attic Sewing Room
The Attic Sewing Room was created by Joni Gillard from a Kim Jacobs calendar print, and the second of my calendar series. The cobblestone is made of Paperclay, and colored with acrylic washes. Most all of the furnishings were done by myself with the exceptions of the flowers, sewing machine and sewing patterns. The clock is hand carved and the suitcase is made of wood and paper netting and is fully functional. The trunk is ink dyed and kittens are made of Deco hard clay. The nutcracker in the front window is also working. I hope you enjoy your visit.

An Old Country Porch
The porch has been aged and weathered to give the feeling of homeyness and the simple life. The old console radio is made of wood and is lit at the grill. The cobblestones are out of paperclay and acrylic washes. I made the broom to appear to be well used. Both the old man and woman and the cat I made out of Pro-sculpt clay and they are a full body sculpt. Thanks to my husband for building the structure and laying all those shingles!
